FAQs

1. What is included with aerial photography projects? 

 

All aerial photography services include thirty (30) minutes travel time to the site, fifteen (15) minutes pre-flight mission coordination, FAA clearances (where required) and up to one hour of flight/site time to capture required footage. All flights will be scheduled as favorable weather forecasts permit.

 

2. What are your current rates?

We offer services from basic aerial capture (video or still photos) to custom packages designed specifically for the client. We encourage you to request a request a free quote for your specific project(s). Our policy is a prompt response within 24 hours.

 

3. How are projects delivered?

All Work will be delivered electronically in industry standard format (.JPEG, .MP4 or RAW format upon request). Basic edits will be performed for still photography. Videos are shot at a maximum 4k/30 fps and are delivered unedited and without sound. Upon request, video editing and music can be provided for an additional fee.

 

4. Who owns the copyrights to the photos after they are taken?

5. Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, multi-site and multi-project discounts are available as part of our custom packages. Please contact us for additional information.

 

6. Do you have insurance?  

Yes, KPC Visual Svcs is fully insured and carries a minimum of $500,000 general liability insurance policy. ($1 million or more as required). Proof of our insurance is available upon request at the time of project execution.

7. Are deposits required? When is payment due?

 

A deposit of $50 or 1/3 of the agreed upon price (whichever is greater) is due at the time of booking, with the balance of the payment due in full at the time of the scheduled shoot. Payment indicates acceptance of and agreement to all Terms and Conditions outlined here. Usage rights will not be granted until full payment is received.

 

8.What kind of payment do you accept?

 

KPCVS accepts credit/debit card, check and electronic fund transfer (Zelle, Ca$hApp).

 

9. What is your cancellation policy?

 

Shoot dates and/or times may be changed or canceled without penalty up to twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled shoot time. You may call or email to cancel the photoshoot no later than 5:00pm the day prior to your shoot to avoid a cancellation fee. Late notice cancellations will be subject to a $50 fee, and KPCVS will charge the client accordingly.

 

10. Can I make changes to the photoshoot?

 

Please note some changes requested by the Client to the planned shoot may require rescheduling and will incur additional fees. KPCVS retains the right make changes to scheduled dates and/or times up and to the agreed upon time for the project shoot, particularly to any exterior shoots.

 

For aerial shoots, the Remote Pilot-In-Command for KPCVS retains the sole right to cancel the shoot due to unexpected weather events. In those instances, attempts will be made to reschedule at suitable time as soon as possible at no additional cost to the Client. Otherwise, changes to the shoot shall be considered on a case by case basis.

 

11. How should the shoot location be prepared?

 

It is the sole responsibility of the Client/Property Owner to ensure the readiness of the location for aerial, exterior and interior shots, and/or any other factors to assist in the ability of KPCVS to complete the project. KPCVS will not shoot in locations that are not clean and camera-ready, which include but are not limited to decluttering, depersonalization and the removal of items not essential to the photo, vehicles, trash and, pets and/or other extraneous items. For interior photography, KPCVS retains the right to make minor adjustments to furnishings that may effect the quality of the shoot. 

 

12. Do I need to be present for your access to the shoot location?

 

The Client/Property Owner will ensure safe, secure property access. The Client/Property Owner may be present during the project shoot, or in the case they cannot be present, will ensure entry instructions are current, verified and provided, in writing via email, to KPCVS prior to the shoot  (i.e a confirmed contact person, lockbox combination/keys). Movement around the project location in the process of executing the shoot will be under the charge of the Remote Pilot-In-Command.

13. How do you handle privacy?

 

By engaging KPC Visual Services, the Client/Property Owner understands that KPCVS may be using a drone as part of the Work and grants KPCVS permission to operate the drone on and above property/project location. It is also the Client/Property Owner's responsibility to notify neighboring property owners of the project (date/time/duration) prior to KPCVS arriving on-site at the agreed upon time.
