From Merriam-Webster, the fourth definition of convergence is “the merging of distinct technologies, industries, or devices into a unified whole.”

 

It is quite fitting then, that the story of KPC Visual Services is one of convergence. It is the convergence of music and photography, civil engineering and aviation, the roots of which were established over 30+ years ago as an undergrad student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science.

And as one might imagine, those paths randomly wind and cross in odd places. Surprisingly, however, these are the intersections that form the mechanism for balance: left brain logic and order against right brain creativity and art (with a healthy dose of marketing), all meeting here in the present as a united “thing”.

I call this the "convergence product", the point where it all comes together to form KPCVS, an aerial and still photography company that is FAA Part 107 certified and licensed and fully insured for commercial drone operations, and OSHA-10 certified for construction site safety.
